Meet the founder

One familiar, trusted companion for every visit.

Hi, I'm Priscilla. Most people call me Prissy.

With many years of experience working within the NHS, I've spent much of my professional life supporting people and families through times when reassurance, patience, dignity and clear communication really matter.

I created The Village Companion because I believe meaningful support isn't always about clinical care. Sometimes what makes the biggest difference is having a familiar person to talk to, share a cup of tea with, accompany you to an appointment or simply spend quality time with.

The Village Companion brings that same sense of professionalism, compassion and reliability into a non-medical companionship service, giving clients meaningful connection and families greater peace of mind.

Refined companionship. Familiar reassurance. Peace of mind for every family.

A note on transport

Transport, tickets, meals, refreshments, and personal expenses are paid separately. A clear service boundary

Our service is strictly non-medical and non-personal care. We do not provide washing, dressing, toileting, medication administration, or clinical care.

How it works

Calm, simple, no pressure.
